Elements+ ... As you probably know, Photoshop Elements has not inherited all of the essential features of the full Photoshop. Some functions have been removed, while the others just stay hidden. The surface functions are quite sufficient for a beginner. As you advance, though, you may miss one or another undocumented feature.

The thing is that by no means all the absent functions are removed from Photoshop Elements (hereinafter, "PSE") in full, many of them are just hidden from the user. And "Elements+" (hereinafter, "E+") is a handy add-on that lets the hidden functions out. The opened functions appear in PSE immediately after the successful E+ installation. ?Andrei Doubrovski's Elements+ 4.0 is an add-on for Photoshop Elements that unlocks a number of undocumented advanced functions in the program through dedicated dialog boxes. Features include paths, color channels, Smart Filters, vector masks, channel mixer, soft proofing, layer groups, Smart Object functions, Text in Shape, text on paths, scripts, and much more. This release is for the new Photoshop Elements 10 and adds the ability to export, import, and manage custom styles, new commands in the Color and Tone dialog (Split Channels and Merge Channels), two new commands in the Masks dialog, and four additions to the Scripts catalog (Handstitching, Edge Mask, Graffiti, and iDate). Elements+ is $12 for Mac OS X 10.4.11 and up with Photoshop Elements 10. Previous releases are available for earlier versions of Photoshop Elements.
